You must be 18 or older to use BarterThat. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
BarterThat is a marketplace where members trade goods, services, and skills without cash. BarterThat facilitates connections and tools; the trade itself is an agreement between the members involved. BarterThat is not a party to, and does not guarantee, any trade.
You are solely responsible for the content you post (listings, messages, photos, and video). You agree not to post content that is unlawful, sexually explicit, violent, hateful, harassing, deceptive, or that infringes others' rights, and not to harass, threaten, scam, or abuse other members.
We provide tools to report objectionable content and to block abusive users. Blocking a user immediately removes their content from your view and notifies us. We review reports and act within 24 hours — removing offending content and ejecting members who violate these Terms.
Meet in public places when possible, keep communication and any balancing payments inside the app, and use the in-app Safe Swap tools. Deals arranged or completed off-app cannot be protected, verified, reimbursed, or disputed by BarterThat.
Optional cash or credit "top-ups" that balance a trade are processed by our payment providers (Stripe, RevenueCat). Barter Tokens are promotional in-app credits, have no cash value, and are not redeemable for cash.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your Profile; deletion permanently removes your profile, listings, and data.
BarterThat is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, BarterThat is not liable for the conduct of members, the quality or legality of anything traded, or losses arising from trades.
